wow. that is a beautiful photo of my brother. it is bringing tears to my eyes. Darin would have loved a day like today, the wonderful weather, summertime, grilling on the deck, keeping his yard green and healthy. i miss him every day. And i was only his big sister.
ReplyDeleteAfter finishing the post, had to try to stay away from the laptop. Your words bring tears. Thinking a lot about him these past two days. Yeah, he would have loved todays weather. He had moved to pose beside Roy at the Mother's Day dinner you arranged. I took the picture. That was a beautiful day - lovely restaurant, all of us there....We were blessed.

ReplyDeleteYou know the memory of him and his life with all of us, well that is a beautiful thing. I need to dig out the picture of him with you when you first came home from the hospital - only a few days old. You came along and he became an "Uncle" and he loved it. . .
